Your Good Deed For The Day, Handmade By You

You can never underestimate the value of a handwritten note, especially on handmade paper, the texture, the color, the pattern, even the smell; once you receive it in your mailbox, it is like a little gift. What is better is what is found inside: sincere words of love, concern, even just a simple thinking of you. Why not send a handwritten letter or card today to someone who may need a little pick-me-up?  You never know how it may affect you both for the better.

Craving Katazome?

Tired of a white out winter? If you are craving happy colors, check out these handmade cards from Yamada Shokai, Japan collected by Lauren at Paper Connection International.  Katazome is an amazing Japanese craft of resist dyeing on paper or fabric. It’s one of my favorite printmaking techniques.
