Thinking Ahead While Looking Back
As cold air permeates New England, I think back to last summer. Getting inspired, with the blues of sky and sea, as well as pastel shades of shell. The jagged lines of shadow from broken shells also gives me some ideas.
More to come…
Moment in Marblehead
They never fail to
fascinate; smooth and wet, cold
round weight in your palms.
Jellyfish Blue and Rust
Found in Rhode Island;
Profile in blue and rust.
Blue Beach
Water Dance
calm tides twirl dancers
floating by, like the warm breeze
in my strands of hair,
Under the Dock
Up Close, In A Row
Silent, lined up, long
blades stand guard as passers-by
walk straight to their boats.
Spider Crab
Shapes from Gray’s Beach
Sea sloshes mud, grass
immersed, dark water seeping
through marshland; wet air.
