One of my etsy customers, Busy Bee Free, posted a great idea on her blog recently: a fabric swap. We all know the clothes swap idea: gather your girlfriends who have an abundance of clothes, throw them in the middle of the floor, and see what you can give and get. So why not with fabric?

Here is the fellow quilter’s blog where Busy Bee participates in the fabric swap, Lapjes Ruilen. Mind you, these artists are in France, so I am not sure how convenient it will be to exchange with them. Why not create your own? Cook up some good eats and see what you can share with your fabric friends? It’s a great way to recycle, save, and get inspired.
