My friend Tamar was so gracious in letting me display some of my photos at her beautiful Gallery Stika in central MA. How sad we all were when she had to make the not-so-easy but practical decision to close down last December.

Good news is Tamar still has her original studio and gallery location, Sikta Creations, in Shirley, MA.
At Sitka Creations you can find a variety of services including web and graphic design, help with social media, as well as photography. The staff gladly sets up meetings from Martha’s Vineyard to New York City, and in between.
Sitka Creations supports local artists. In their gallery space, handmade jewelry dangles next to handmade stationery, photographs, and more. Various paintings adorn the walls in this renovated mill space.

The pièce de résistance, though, has to be the letterpress. This vintage beauty handed down to Tamar by her family is a sight to behold, and gets your creative juices flowing. You wonder what Tamar will print next?
